About

fleurs d'emmi is the floral project of Emily Gray, currently based in Montréal, Québec using primarily blooms grown by local farmers and from her own garden. With a background in visual arts (BFA c.2017) and over 10 years of experience working on small scale, organic farms across Canada, her passion for working with flowers emerged naturally and continues to grow.
In 2025, she started a garden on a rooftop in the Mile End and a guerilla garden in the neighbourhood’s beloved ‘soul patch’. As a self-taught florist, she has created arrangements alongside the team at Fleuriste Sophie Dorval, Flori Flora, and Oursin Fleurs. She currently works with her friend and mentor, Marie-Christine Sullivan at Ferme Bee Balm, located in Boucherville, QC.
An artist by nature, Emily views her surroundings as a part of life’s collage. With a multimedia practice including fibres, ceramics, woodworking, painting, performance art, culinary arts— these inform her sensibility to create with an attention to detail and care. With an eclectic taste, she is often drawn to non-traditional floral arrangements, bold palettes, vintage or handmade vases that form an artistic language that bridges between elegant and rustic.
Emily is eager to provide her floral services catering to all kinds of events including weddings, funerals, special events, and everyday life.
